About Rishi
Rishi is a professional Urdu/Punjabi teacher from India. He has been teaching Urdu/Punjabi language for over 10 years. He has a Bachelor’s and master’s degree in Urdu literature and linguistics. He has a lot of experience teaching people from all nationalities and age groups and he is friendly and engaging. He is passionate about helping his students reach their language learning goals. Rishi as a Teacher
Rishi’s style can be described as relaxed, student-centered and fun creating an environment where students feel comfortable to speak and practice a new language. He always try to engage all of his clients by being able to discuss many diverse topics and interests. He can provide material on a range of topics to match his client’s interests and needs. He provides immediate feedback and correct his clients issues without embarrassment to the client. He is extremely prepared so you can relax and focus on speaking during class! He offers all of his students a PDF document at the end of each session, which includes notes, vocabulary, role plays, homework, and pronunciation notes from that class.
His Lessons & Teaching Style
He has a proven and tested method that he uses to help his students reach a higher level of fluency. He is very proud of his method and all of the success of his past and current students and would love to share it with you. He will teach you common sense Urdu and he’ll show you how to apply it to your everyday life. He will also teach you how to sound more natural in any environment that requires you to speak Urdu. Taking a course with him is not only beneficial for language learning. Many of my students have found that working with him is great for overall self-improvement in areas such as confidence, self-expression, and self-esteem.
Mukesh is an excellent teacher. I am impressed with how well he prepares each lesson. We discuss a variety of topics which have been challenging but has definitely helped with my confidence in speaking. He doesn't make me feel shy in making mistakes and he always reassures me that I am making good progress. He is very good at breaking down difficult concepts and provides lots of examples and exercises. I find him very easy to understand and talk to and he is very patient, giving me time to think and prepare my answers without feeling rushed.
I'd highly recommend Rishi to anyone wanting to learn or improve their Hindi or Urdu. Rishi's great at improving your confidence in speaking as well as giving really useful new vocabulary and grammar lessons. These lessons are invaluable for conversation practice and improving my fluency. I'd say that even if you live in India or Pakistan where the language is spoken, as I do, lessons with Rishi will really enhance and speed up the learning process.
Mukesh is an excellent teacher. His course materials are fantastic and well thought out. His method is easy to follow and understand. I have learned so much in a short time. He is very thorough with all his explanations and makes learning fun and painless. He is always pleasant, cheerful and very very patient. An overall great learning experience. I can’t rate Mukesh’s lessons highly enough - if there’s a grammar point you’re unsure about, you can be sure Rishi will be able to explain it incredibly clearly with many examples and provide a lot of encouragement and direction. If you just want conversation and correction, Rishi is adept at choosing interesting conversation topics, correcting gently with grammar advice, and keeping conversations going. He sends interesting articles to translate and has a number of well-produced self-made resources and drill sheets for learning and practicing Hindi/Urdu.
